Pharmacist Interventions to Optimize T2D Care: Breaking Through Clinical Inertia
Regional Chapter Meeting
III Forks
111 Lavaca St, Austin, TX 78701
Overview:
This CE session will focus on optimizing type 2 diabetes care with guideline-recommended GLP-1 RA and dual GIP/GLP-1 RA therapies. The program includes a concise update from a diabetes expert pharmacist and interactive case-based breakouts tackling real-world challenges in care. Attendees will gain practical strategies to overcome barriers, improve cardiometabolic outcomes, and support patient access. At the conclusion of the session, attendees will receive a QR code linking to a train-the-trainer toolkit (slides with speaker notes, cases with discussion guides, and facilitator notes) to support delivering the program to their own teams. The QR code will also provide a PDF summarizing targeted “Actions to Take Now” to address gaps in clinical practice, along with best practices, FAQs, and implementation insights to support real-world application.
